Our Departure Services programme has been designed to guide the assignee and family through the process of handing back their rental property and completing the myriad of administrative tasks that are required, smoothly and efficiently.
Handing a property back to the landlord at the end of the tenancy can be complicated in the UK, and even seasoned expatriates will benefit from expert advice to ensure the correct steps are taken in a timely fashion. Our specialists will ensure that the assignee is fully aware of their obligations under the terms of the lease to minimise any deductions from the security deposit or unnecessary charges.
While the smooth handing back of the rental property, and then following through with the letting agent or landlord to negotiate the return of the security deposit is important, our specialists are also on hand to provide assistance and guidance with completing administrative tasks such as forwarding or cancelling mail, closing bank accounts and utilities accounts and cancelling insurances.
