In instances where an accompanied home search is not appropriate, due to either time or cost constraints, our Desktop Home Search offers an ideal, cost effective solution. The employee still receives the same expert independent advice and market research provided with an accompanied home search, but spends minimal time away from the office visiting properties, allowing the employee to concentrate on their new job.

As with the accompanied home search programme, an experienced home search specialist manages the entire process and is the employees’ single point of contact throughout the move, remaining available to answer questions and offer advice at any stage, up to the point the employee is settled in their new home.

The key elements of the Desktop Home Search are:

• An initial telephone consultation with the employee to communicate the agreed policy, establish their requirements, and provide an overview of the target area and the relocation process
• Agree a time line and schedule of events with you and the employee
• Market research undertaken to indentify suitable properties matching the employees requirements and personal needs
• A detailed itinerary of the best-suited properties is produced and issued to the employee (with a copy to the client if required)
• Upon selection of the preferred property we undertake rental negotiation with the letting agent or landlord
• Rental contract validation by our company solicitor
• Upon request, utility companies will be contacted and an inventory will be arranged
