Personalised and practical career counselling
It is widely recognised that increasing numbers of families depend on two incomes, so the thought of one partner having to leave their job, or suspend their career, due to a potential job move can be a significant factor in employees declining a relocation offer.
Our spouse employment programme helps to overcome these issues by supporting an employee's spouse or partner in finding a rewarding job, further education course, or volunteering opportunity in the new location.
The spouse employment support is available both in the UK and in a variety of destinations worldwide. Support is typically provided face-to-face and is fully personalized to address the needs of the spouse.
A sample support programme may include career counselling, resume/CV writing and review, interview preparation through role-playing, providing a list of potential employers, information about the local job market and advice on the equivalence of specialist qualifications. Equally, support can be provided on the process of becoming self-employed, finding further educational opportunities, or simply advice on volunteering when paid work is not an option.
